BNB Chain
The BNB Chain environment is driven by the community, open-source, and decentralized. In February 2022, Binance combined the Binance Smart Chain and the Binance Chain to create the new BNB Chain. BNB maintains compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, incorporates consensus mechanisms, and has transformed into a multi-chain hub. It ranks among the largest cryptocurrency ecosystems globally, with its native token BNB in third place, boasting a market cap of $40.9 billion (not including stablecoins).
