Initiated by Andy Chorlian in July 2021, Fractional is an NFT platform that allows users to possess portions of high-priced NFTs that they wouldn’t normally afford. Thus, Fractional enhances the accessibility of NFTs by lowering entry expenses. For users, it has established a pathway for fostering community connections centered on popular NFTs. In August 2022, Fractional revealed its transition from a basic smart contract to a comprehensive NFT framework and rebranding itself as Tessera.
