Metis
Metis’ Layer 2 network aggregates Ethereum transactions, handles them off-chain, and subsequently sends them back to Ethereum for documentation, with the goal of enhancing Ethereum’s scalability. Metis offers an NFT bridge connecting its Andromeda network with Ethereum, NFT storage solutions, a framework for its DAO, decentralized autonomous companies (DACs), and middleware to assist developers in managing their smart contracts. The Metis token (METIS) serves in the Metis ecosystem for staking purposes and transaction costs.
