Four individuals—Dr. Steven Waterhouse, Jay Freeman, Gustav Simonsson, and Brian J. Fox—established Orchid, which has expanded and is currently located in Berlin and San Francisco. They applied their extensive experience in technology to create this on-chain privacy protocol. Orchid users have the ability to alter their locations, allowing them to access and share their accounts across various devices. The protocol is built for Web3, allowing users to make payments in cryptocurrency or traditional currency. To enhance accessibility, Orchid is offered on Mac, iOS, and Android platforms.
