Raindrop
The Raindrops Protocol consists of five individual contracts that regulate on-chain or proof-on-chain data tailored for games, enabling any player or item to be used interchangeably across any compatible game client. The Solana ecosystem utilizes a disjointed and highly personalized method for on-chain storage of in-game assets, featuring various formats. However, the Metaplex Protocol’s approaches to storing typical NFT data are uniform. The objective of Raindrops is to achieve the same results for game assets.
