Chainlink is a DeFi oracle enabling Ethereum-based smart contracts to obtain real-world data and perform off-chain computations. Their offerings consist of data streams, Verifiable Random Numbers (VRF), accessing external APIs, and automated agreements. The protocol is designed to determine if the parameters of a smart contract with real-world data are free from stakeholder influence.
